Review for CoverGirl Exact Eyelights Mascara

Today I am reviewing the new CoverGirl Exact Eyelights mascara which I'm so excited to be doing because I love CoverGirl products especially their mascara. As you will learn I am obesessed with eye makeup, most importantly mascara which I never leave home without. I have been using this mascara for about a month now. It comes with the promise to brighten your eyes by using a special color tint and light reflecting pigments specifically targeted towards your unique eye color. Of course as always because it is apart of the covergirl lash exact line it comes with the special no clump brush, which I personally love. The colors are as follows

For Brown Eyes-Black Pearl

For Blue Eyes- Black Sapphire

For Green Eyes-Black Ruby

For Hazel Eyes-Black Gold
Because my eyes are brown I use black pearl (shown above). As soon as I applied it I could quickly compare it to other mascaras that I've used in the past, the light reflecting pigments really do the trick. You can tell that your eyes look brighter as compared to the just plain black or boring brown basic mascaras which sometimes give you a racoon look. This mascara actually makes you look more "wide eyed" and awake, so its perfect for those of you who are in a rush and need an extra pick me to look like you got your recommended eight hours, which we obviously dont get but need to. The no clump brush is a great bonus. All in all I would definately recommend this product to all you mascara and makeup lovers because it really does work, one of the few products that does what it says it will.
Be Blessed!!
**AJ tip- To really make your eyes pop apply the mascara to your lower lashes too

The Only relaxer I use!!!!

Dark and Lovely relaxer in regular is the only relaxer I use. Give It a try if you are new to relaxing from having gone natural and are ready to make that leap back to chemical processing, its gentle and gets the job done. Just listen to my girl Kelly

As always comments. What types of relaxers are yall using or is natural really the way to go?

Where are our Black Women in the media?

Hey Yall! Today I was thinking, as I was in walmart looking at all the magazines like People and US weekly, where are the black women? Is it wrong for me to want to open a magazine like the ones previously mentioned and find a snapshot of a Gabrielle Union or a Jada Pinkett Smith coming out of a grocery store looking normal or possibly fabulous. I guess I just want for the media to acknowlegde that our black female celebrities are important too. Why shouldn't they be followed like everyone else.Lol! I dont know thats my beef, what are your comments..agree disagreee?

Review for Pantene Pro-V Relaxed and Natural Collection

As and African American female I usually have a hard time finding the right products that suit my hair. I have tried everything on the market and I finally found something that works. When Pantene Pro-V released its relaxed and Natural Collection for women of color, I was a little skeptical. After all what does pantene know about black hair but little did I know how naive I was being. I started off using the regular conditioner and shampoo that I feel works wonders. It gives my hair the right amount of moisture and surprisingly does not dry it out like other products I use that are geared toward black hair. I use all the styling products they have, which is not alot, unfortunately but I love them. It gives my hair movement and bounce, which we all know is important when dealing with our sometimes coarse hard to style hair. The oil sheen, daily oil cream moisturizer, and the wrap and set lotion all work wonders when used together. The wrap and set lotion can be used after shapmpooing for protection against blow drying and flat ironing and can alos be used to hold in place those sometimes pesky wraps that never want to stay. I have also started using the deep conditioning anti-breakage mask which is good to prevent access breakage. Overall I love the products and hope that pantene puts out more for us to try. Has anyone else there tried the products and loved or hated them? Or what products are yall using to much success?
